We are delighted to be able to offer for sale this stunning and rare limited series V8 Vantage Le Mans to V600 Specification (Number Twelve out of Forty – Few of which were built to V600 Specification).
This series of cars was built to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Aston’s deserved victory in the world’s greatest sportscar race – the Le Mans 24 Hours.
Presented in Aston Martin Racing Green with unmarked Magnolia Hide piped in Spruce, complete with Spruce Carpeting and Dark Burr Walnut Veneer.
This car has had a total of two keepers since its first registration in February 2000 and has been maintained within the Aston Martin Dealer Network, whilst in the ownership of its first keeper and since maintained by Aston Martin Works Service at Newport Pagnell.
Works Service has also been responsible for fitting an Alpine DVD Based Navigation System, Power Folding Door Mirrors and Self Dimming Rear View Mirror.
Its Twin Supercharged V8 engine produced 600 BHP and 600 lb/ft of Torque – The new DBS only produces 510 BHP. Specification of the V600 examples includes a 5 Speed manual gearbox, Sports Exhaust System and additional large capacity intercooler radiators and pumps. All cars were equipped with bespoke bodywork and 5 Spoke Magnesium Alloy Wheels and AP Racing Braking System.
This car has covered just under 17,000 miles and is currently being serviced by Aston Martin Works Service, prior to its arrival.
With Aston Martin having such success once again in 2009, 50 Years after they entered their first race, this limited series car is a must for any serious collector!
